It's that time of year for our Annual family vacation to Pine Point Beach in Scarborough, Maine. We had the most amazing week spent at the beach relaxing, eating and playing. Over 60+ of our closest relatives all gather every year to spend the week together. Bringing my kids to the same place where I spent my summers as a child never gets old! I hope you enjoy some of our memories from this July!

Spring Mickey Sugar Cookies!
Hi Friends!
If you do not already know I love Holidays and I especially love baking unique and special treats to celebrate each season. To celebrate the Easter season, I wanted to make something that is always a favorite of mine, sugar cookies! More specifically Mickey shaped sugar cookies! I wanted to recreate a treat they actually sell in Walt Disney World so I decided to make half frosted Mickey Shaped Sugar Cookies with spring sprinkles! Now this recipe is not mine and all the credit goes to Jenny over at The Picky Palate. She comes up with and makes the BEST recipes, a lot of which are Disney inspired as well! Check out the sugar cookie recipe below, it is perfect for shape cookies and tastes even better!

Dinosaur Fossil Activity!
Happy Monday! Hope everyone enjoyed their three day weekend in celebration of Memorial Day. Tomorrow is Tuesday which means it is back to school (well home school 😋). Talan is officially done for the Summer as of Friday but I thought I would share one of my favorite activities that we did this past month. It's a Dinosaur Fossil activity where we collected sticks around the yard and shaped them into his favorite dinosaur! This was such a simple, fun learning activity that could be done so many ways! Kids can create any animal or object that they love! Below is instructions worksheet I put together to make the project a little bit easier. Let me know in the comments if your child ends up doing this for "home" school!

Pine Point Beach, Maine
I started my blog right around this time last year and shared with you all our annual trip to Pine Point Beach in Maine. This year was no different and we spent the third week of July in our favorite spot with 65+ of our closest relatives. Every year, our family grows a little bit bigger and the celebration becomes even more special. Bringing my own kids to the place where I grew up and seeing them enjoy the same traditions; will always be something I hold close to my heart. I'm going to also be sharing travel guide post to Pine Point later in the month but I hope you all enjoy seeing some of my favorite captures from this week.

Lucky Charms Cake
If you know anything about me then you know I am obsessed with Holidays; even the small ones. So since St. Patrick's Day is this weekend I thought I would make a festive cake with the kids. I searched Pinterest for some holiday desserts and came across this Lucky Charm Cake! It was so simple to make and really fun for the kids too. I mixed it up from the one I found online by using the green limited edition Lucky Charms to make it more geared towards St. Pattys. Check out the recipe below and let me know in the comments your favorite holiday treats!

Holiday Date Night in Boston
Hi guys and happy holiday season! This is my favorite time of year and I'm always looking for fun festive stuff to do with my kids and boyfriend. Since having a baby three months ago, date nights are a thing of the past. So my boyfriend and I decided we NEEDED to get away for a night in the city. When I was younger during the Christmas season my mom and I always went into Boston to see The Nutcracker at the Boston Opera House. I grew up doing ballet so it's always such a special show to watch and the theater is so incredibly beautiful.
