All the Fall Things

I'm a sucker for all things Fall.  Carving pumpkins, apple picking, Halloween, and changing leaves; count me in. So this past weekend we were in search of a cute pumpkin patch to bring the kids and have them pick out their own pumpkins for carving. After a long google search we came across this place in North Andover, Massachusetts; Boston Hill Farm. It was the cutest place and included everything one needs for a complete fall day.  The pumpkin patch can't be seen from the road and it's a long walk down a back road behind the little store at the entrance but so beautiful! It was completely empty when we arrived and the patch was a little picked over but it was still so picturesque.  There is even a playground for kids, with a play house and pirate ship and a little section with some farm animals.  So we grabbed our pumpkins, played on the playground for a bit and grabbed apple cider donuts before leaving!  We have yet to carve our pumpkins as that is a task in itself but we will probably tackle that tonight so wish me luck 😝

Homemade Mickey Waffles!

Last night I made Talan his favorite dinner - breakfast! More specifically Mickey Waffles.  Talan is the ultimate Disney kid and that's probably because I'm obsessed myself.  Working for Disney in college instilled in me a love for all things Disney; especially their famous Mickey Waffles.   My absolute favorite part of visiting Disney World is the Mickey Waffles they serve at all the hotels and restaurants.  So of course I had to buy a waffle maker to recreate these at home.  Below is the recipe I found that is the closest to tasting like the real thing! A Safe Home is a Happy Home

Hi guys!  I recently came across a product that I just have to share.  Before having Eleanor I was searching for a new baby monitor as I didn't like the one I had for Talan a few years back.  I came across CamHome Technologies which actually makes home security cameras.  I had heard good things about their BlackBox Camera so I decided to give it a whirl.  And I'm so happy I did.  The camera is super small and minimalist so it fits in perfectly without standing out too much in a room.  I love that it rotates horizontally and vertically which is something I had trouble finding in a regular baby monitor. The best part; it can be connected right to my iPhone with a motion detector.  So when Talan jumps out of bed at 1 in the morning to come in our room I'm notified before he runs in haha 😅

The Deerfield Fair!

This past Saturday we spent the day as a family at the Deerfield Fair.  It was so fun seeing all the animals, riding carnival rides with the kids and of course the giant corndogs!  Cause lets be real this indoor girl only walks through the mud and deals with smelly animal barns if fried food is involved.  We took so many cute pics I thought I would share a few of my favs!  Hope everyone is having a great week so far 😁
